Oci-Tech Global LTD delivers structured installation work packages for data centre environments, from rack positioning through to tested, labelled and documented handover.

Delivery capability

Built around work packages, sequencing and evidence

We work to the site programme and technical specification, coordinating with main contractors, operators and in-house technical teams. Each package is defined before mobilisation so scope, responsibility and acceptance criteria are clear.

  • Rack positioning and installation

Work package categories

Nine categories covering the data hall lifecycle

01

Fibre and copper installation

Copper and fibre infrastructure installed, routed, dressed, patched, labelled, tested and documented to the agreed project specification.

02

Rack and hardware deployment

Rack positioning, levelling and build, followed by switch, server and appliance installation with console and management connections.

03

Containment

Overhead and underfloor basket, tray and ladder systems installed with segregation between fibre, copper and power routes.

04

Patching, labelling and cable management

Patch scheduling, structured dressing and consistent cable and port labelling verified against the installation records.

05

Testing and validation

Copper permanent link and channel testing, fibre insertion loss testing, OTDR where specified, and connectivity verification.

06

Quality assurance

Stage inspections, photographic evidence and controlled snag logging, remediation and retest before sign-off.

07

Smart Hands

On-site technical support for remote engineering teams, including patching changes, hardware swaps and physical verification.

08

Progress reporting

Structured daily or agreed-frequency reporting so programme position and installed quantities are visible.

09

Documentation and handover

Test results, labelling records, as-installed information and snag closure collated into an organised handover pack.

Delivery process

A five-stage route from scope to handover

  1. 01

    Plan

Scope review, programme alignment, drawings, sequencing and project-specific safety documentation.

  2. 02

    Install

Controlled deployment coordinated with site requirements, technical teams and agreed work packages.

  3. 03

    Test

Installation checks, fibre and copper testing, connectivity verification and structured snag management.

  4. 04

    Document

Labelling records, test results, progress evidence and agreed project documentation.

  5. 05

    Handover

Final quality review, snag closure and an organised handover aligned with the client's requirements.

Quality and reporting

Testing, evidence and documentation

Quality control is a delivery activity, not a closing task. These controls run throughout the installation.

  • Pre-installation checks
  • In-progress inspections
  • Copper and fibre testing
  • OTDR and power meter testing where required
  • Cable and port verification
  • Labelling control
  • Snag management
  • Photographic evidence
  • Daily progress reporting
  • Final handover documentation
